The start of the season was postponed because of the fowl plague in Holland, Belgium and Germany.
After a few trainings-races in Belgium (150 km), we could enter FRANCE.
For good understanding FRANCE is situated to the south of Belgium.  
We started with 2 trainingsraces in very hard conditions.

This was really a great performance.
Our first pigeon won the number 987 with a whole lot of money.
Further we won all the big series.

This was certainly the most difficult Barcelona of the last 5 years.
At the begin of the race the pigeons come across a very hard mistral wind in the south of France.

This was the 2^nd,  4^th  and 10^th pigeon against 353 pigeons.
Also 3 pigeons in the top on the national and international race. 

The first pigeon that arrived was 4013720/99 "MISTER BARCELONA".
He was our first assigned pigeon, he wins the number A98 and the Barcelona trophy (for first assigned pigeon).
On the national and international race again top prices.

He is the sixth best Barcelona pigeon in Belgium in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

05 JULY 2003 - LIMOGES 597 KM - 278 PIGEONS OF TWO YEARS OLD

We putted 37 pigeons to take part on the race.
These pigeons have not been tested as young pigeon. They flow 2 times Dourdan (309 km).  So these results are really fantastic for these young birds because they have not very much experience. That sounds promising!

Again we put down a fantastic result.
Our first pigeon arrived on 21:25 PM.
It was the only pigeon that came home on the first day and that against 122 pigeons on the regional race. He wins the 1^th price on the regional race. Our second pigeon that arrived won the 15^th.

Also on the national and international race we become a splendid result.

- on the national race against 5196 pigeons we begin with the 67^th
- on the international race against 20786 pigeons we begin with the 120^th

02 AUGUST 2003 - PERPIGNAN 922 KM - 141 PIGEONS OF ONE YEAR OLD - INTERNATIONAL RACE

In France there were temperatures of more then 40 degrees.

Again we put down a fantastic result.
Our first pigeon arrived on 11:01 AM.
He wins the 1^th price on the regional race against 141 pigeons with an advantage of two hours on the second price.

Also on the national and international race we become a splendid result.

- on the national race against 3954 pigeons we begin with the 30^th
- on the international race against 4534 pigeons we begin with the 36^th

02 AUGUST 2003 - PERPIGNAN 922 KM - 147 OLD PIGEONS - INTERNATIONAL RACE

In France there were temperatures of more then 40 degrees.

Again we put down a fantastic result.
Our first pigeon arrived on 13:24 PM.
He wins the 9^th price on the regional race against 147 pigeons. He won also the 4^th  price on Barcelona on 5 July 2003. He was our first assigned pigeon.
Our second assigned pigeon won the 15^th price. 

Now the season ended for our pigeons - we are not playing with our young birds on the national races. We decided to learn them up till 300 km.

There are many important reasons for our decision:

one of them is that we won't milk out our young birds because we will that they become good old pigeons for the long distance races.

Le départ de la saison a éte remis à cause de la peste des oiseaux qui a sévi aux Pays Bas, en Belgique et en Allemagne.
Après quelques concours d'entraînement en Belgique (150 km), nous avons finalement pu entrer en France.
Nous avons commencé avec 2 concours d'entraînement dans des conditions très difficiles.

C'est vraiment une belle performance.
Notre premier pigeon a gagné le numéro  987 (mise 1000, poule 500, spécial 200) avec une grande somme d'argent. Ensuite nous avons gagné toutes les grandes séries.

C'était vraiment un des concours les plus difficiles de Barcelona ces cinq dernières années.
Dès le début du concours, les pigeons ont dû affronter un vent très fort (Mistral) dans le Sud de la France.
Conditions météorologiques: assez chaud, vent du Nord-Ouest de force 3

ARRIVÉES:

Le 5 juillet

11:02 AM, 11:15 AM, 13:07 PM, ... .
C'était le 2^ème,  4^ème  et 10^ème pigeon contre 353 pigeons. 

De nouveau 3 pigeons dans les premiers au concours national et international. 

Le premier pigeon arrivé est "MISTER BARCELONA" 4013720/99.
Il était designé comme notre premier favori, il a gagné le numéro A98 (mise 2000, poule 1000, spécial 500) et le trophée Barcelone (pour le premier designé favori).
Au concours national et international, il a également gagné de fameux prix. 
Il est le 6ème meilleur pigeon sur Barcelone depuis ces trois dernières années.

Ces pigeons n'ont pas été testé l'année passée (quand ils étaient jeunes). Ils ont fait 2 fois Dourdan (309 km).  Ils n'avaient alors pas beaucoup d'expérience. C'est pourquoi ces résultats sont très prometteurs pour l'avenir !

De nouveau un résultat fantastique.
Notre premier pigeon est arrivé à 21:25 PM.
Il a été le seul pigeon à atteindre sa maison le même jour sur 122 pigeons engagés. Il gagnait le 1^er prix au concours  régional contre 122 pigeons. Notre deuxième pigeon gagnait le  15^ème prix .

Nous avons également obtenu un bon résultat au concours national et international.

- au concours international contre  20786 pigeons nous commençons avec le 120^ème

Nous avons également obtenu un bon résultat au concours national et international.

De nouveau un résultat fantastique.
Notre premier pigeon est arrivé à 13:24 PM.
Il a gagné le 9^ème prix au concours regional contre 147 pigeons. Il avait gagné aussi le 4^ème  prix sur Barcelona le 5 juillet 2003. Il était notre premier désigné.
Notre deuxième désigné gagnait le 15^ème prix. 

Maintenant la saison est finie pour nos pigeons.
Nous ne jouons pas avec les jeunes pigeons sur les concours nationaux. Nous avons décidé de les jouer comme entraînement jusqu'à  300 km.

Il y a plusieurs raisons très importantes à cela:

Une est que nous ne voulons pas forcer nos jeunes pigeons parce que nous visons sur de bons résultats dans la durée.

De start van het duivenseizoen liep vertraging op door het uitbreken van de vogelpest in Nederland, België en Duitsland.
Na een aantal trainingsvluchten in België (150 km), konden we uiteindelijk Frankrijk binnen.
We begonnen met 2 trainingsvluchten die in harde omstandigheden verliepen.

PRIJZEN:
14 (1^ste getekende) om 19:08 PM - 27 (4^de getekende) - 28 (2^de getekende) - 39 (3^de getekende) - 52 (5^de getekende).

Onze duiven zetten hier een prachtprestatie neer.
Onze eerste getekende won het zetnummer 987. Verder wonnen we alle grote series.

05 JULI 2003 - BARCELONA 1072 KM - 353 OUDE DUIVEN

Gelost op vrijdag 4 juli om 9:00 AM
Moeilijkheidsgraad van de vlucht: zeer hard
Dit was zeker de moeilijkste Barcelona van de laatste 5 jaar
In het begin van de vlucht werden de duiven, in het zuiden van Frankrijk, geconfronteerd met een harde mistral wind uit NW richting
Weersomstandigheden: tamelijk warm,  NW wind, windkracht 3

AANKOMSTEN:

Op 05 juli

11:02 AM, 11:15 AM, 13:07 PM, ... .
Dit was de 2^de,  4^de  and 10^de telefonische melding van  353 duiven. 

Tevens 3 duiven in de top op de nationale en internationale uitslag. 

De eerste duif die aankwam was 4013720/99 "MISTER BARCELONA".
Hij was onze eerste ingetekende, hij wint het nummer A98 en de Barcelona trofee (voor de eerste ingetekende).
Op de nationale en internationale uitslag weerom top prijzen.

Hij is de 6de beste Barcelona vlieger in België van de laatste 3 jaar.

05 JULI 2003 - LIMOGES 597 KM - 278 2-JAARSE

We korfden 8 twee-jaarse in voor deze vlucht

PRIJZEN:

1 (om 15:52 PM) - 4 - ... . 

De duif die de  4^de prijs won was onze eerste afgegevene. Hij won  het  nummer A98.

Dit was een echte knalprestatie waaraan een heel mooi bedrag gekoppeld was.

05 JULI 2003 - LIMOGES 597 KM - 411 OUDE DUIVEN

We korfden 17 oude duiven in voor deze vlucht

PRIJZEN:

4 - 9 - 55 (1^ste ingetekende) - 59 - 62 (3^de ingetekende) - 63 - 67 (2^de ingetekende) - ... .

Een knalprestatie waarbij alle grote series werden gewonnen.

12 JULI 2003 - LIMOGES 597 KM - 595 JAARLINGEN - NATIONALE VLUCHT

Weersomstandigheden: zeer warm,  N wind, windkracht 2
We korfden 37 jaarlingen in voor deze vlucht.

Deze jaarlingen werden niet getest als jonge duiven. Zij werden gespaard en vlogen 2 maal Dourdan (309 km). Ze hadden dus weinig ervaring vandaar dat deze resultaten  zeer waardevol zijn. 
Dat belooft voor de toekomst.

Wij wonnen 18 prijzen.

Op de nationale vlucht beginnen we met de 104^de prijs tegen 21409 jaarlingen.

12 JULI 2003 - DAX 844 KM - 114 OUDE DUIVEN - INTERNATIONALE VLUCHT

We korfden 4 oude duiven in voor deze vlucht.

Opnieuw hebben we een prachtig resultaat neergezet.

De 12^de prijs werd gewonnen door onze eerste afgegevene. Na hem klokten we onze tweede afgegevene.

19 JULI 2003 - SOUILLAC 693 KM - 194 2-JAARSE

De duif die de  2^de prijs behaalde won twee weken geleden de eerste prijs op Limoges. Nu wint hij het nummer  876.

De duif die de  12^de prijs behaalde won twee weken geleden de vierde prijs op Limoges. Nu wint hij het nummer  998 en alle grote series.

19 JULY 2003 - SOUILLAC 693 KM - 311 OLD PIGEONS

19 JULI 2003 - MARSEILLE 862 KM - 122 OUDE DUIVEN - INTERNATIONALE VLUCHT

We korfden 3 duiven in voor deze vlucht.

Opnieuw zetten we een fantastisch resultaat neer.
Onze eerste duif arriveerde omstreeks 21:25 PM.
Hij was de enige duif die zijn hok bereikte op de lossingsdag. Hij wint dan ook de 1ste prijs op de regionale vlucht tegen 122 duiven. Onze tweede duif won de 15^de prijs .

Ook op de  nationale en internationale vlucht behaalden we formidabele topprijzen.

- op de nationale vlucht tegen 5195 duiven beginnen we met de 67^ste
- op de  internationale vlucht tegen 20786 duiven beginnen we met de 120^ste

02 AUGSTUS  2003 - PERPIGNAN 922 KM - 141 JAARLINGEN - INTERNATIONALE VLUCHT

De duiven werden in Frankrijk geconfronteerd met temperaturen van meer dan 40°

Opnieuw zetten we een fantastisch resultaat neer.
Onze eerste duif arriveerde omstreeks 11:01 AM.
Hij won regionaal de 1^ste prijs tegen 141 jaarlingen met een voorsprong van 2 uur op de tweede prijs regionaal.

Ook op de  nationale en internationale vlucht behaalden we formidabele topprijzen.

- op de nationale vlucht tegen 3954 duiven beginnen we met de 30^ste
- op de  internationale vlucht tegen 4534 duiven beginnen we met de 36^ste

02 AUGSTUS  2003 - PERPIGNAN 922 KM - 147 OUDE DUIVEN - INTERNATIONALE VLUCHT

De duiven werden in Frankrijk geconfronteerd met temperaturen van meer dan 40°

Opnieuw zetten we een fantastisch resultaat neer.
Onze eerste duif arriveerde omstreeks 13:24 PM.
Hij wint  regionaal de 9^de prijs tegen 147 oude duiven. Deze duif won tevens op 5 juli 2003  de 4^de prijs op Barcelona. Hij was onze eerste afgegevene.
Onze tweede afgegevene won de 15de prijs.

Momenteel is het duivenseizoen afgelopen voor ons. Wij spelen onze jonge duiven niet op de nationale vluchten. We hebben besloten van ze enkel op te leren tot 300 km.

Daar zijn verschillende redenen voor:

één ervan is dat we onze jonge duiven niet willen uitmelken omdat we voor een langere carrière opteren.
